Overall history:
Arianna was born on June 2, 1974 to her lovely mother and father in Paris, France. Most would believe it to be a wonderful summer day, but the truth is, it was storming that day. It wasn't until she let out that single cry that the sun started to shine through. Arianna was not an only child, no, she had an older brother. At first, he begged his parents to take her back, but as time went on, he began to be thankful for his sister.
Arianna's brother, Marcus, and her were really close, the older they became. Some even thought the two of them were twins, their looks being so close to each others. When they were younger, boys would pick on her and he would always defend her. He told her that no matter what happened to them, that he would always be there to protect them. She believed him and knew that he would be there for her through anything. However, all that came to an end one fateful autum afternoon. Marcus and Arianna, then nine and seven, were down by the family lake and were playing around, trying to skip rocks. Marcus kept getting closer and closer to the edge of the dock and one time, he threw his rock a little to hard, tumbling into the lake. Arianna screamed for their father as she watched Marcus struggle to stay above the surface. She had no clue what to do and by time their father got down to the lake, it was too late.
It's been nine years since the death of Marcus, and it still haunts her almost everyday. She blames herself constantly for his death. Her parents are even worse though. Her mother is overprotective of her, annoying the crap out of Arianna. Her father though, he's the worst. He looks at her constantly and sees his son, not being able to love her the way any father wants to love their daughter.
Arianna's only true escape is at Beauxbaton's. There with all of her friends and classmates, she is allowed to slip away from the reality of her home life and live a truly happy life.
Roleplay sample:
Arianna woke up on autum day and looked out her window. The leaves were finally starting to change and that meant only one thing, school would be starting soon. She could escape soon and go back to her friends. Maybe this year she would find her real love.
She slipped on her robe and slippers and went downstairs. "Bonjour Maman." Her mother turned around and smiled sweetly at her daughter. "Bonjour mon cher. Comment allez-vous ce beau matin?" Arianna smiled. "Grande! Je ne peux pas croire scolaire commence bientôt." Her mother tried to continue smiling, but frowned a little. "Darling, il suffit de me promettre que vous serez en sécurité." Arianna sighed, her shoulders falling a little. "Bien sûr, maman. Je suis toujours en sécurité." Her mother nodded and placed Arianna's breakfast before her. She quickly finished her meal and headed back upstairs to her bedroom.
On her bedside table was a photo of her and her brother when they were younger. If only you were still here, Marcus. She couldn't help but think to herself. She was taken from her memories with the thud that happened against her window. She looked up and saw an owl sitting on her window ledge. She opened the window for the little owl, feeding her a treat. " 'Ello." She smiled at the owl as the letter was dropped into her opened hand. Arianna opened it excitedly and looked to see that it was her school supply list. FINALLY! She watched the bird fly off and closed her window, dropping the letter on her bed.
She hurried over to her closet and began throwing clothes on her bed, not sure on what she wanted to take with her to school. She turned arond when her closet was empty and looked at her now messy room. Arianna placed her hands on her hips and sighed. Boy, she could not wait until she would be able to use magic outside of school. It would make packing so much easier.
Approved!
