It is currently the summer holidays in the Wizarding World. Everyone is free to post at their homes, out and about, on holiday in the world somewhere, students can shop for supples and Hogwarts Staff can get to the school early to get this ready for the start of the term.

We will be starting Hogwarts as soon as possible, there are still positions for Professors left if you wish to apply.

New Look
You have hopefully noticed the new look for this forum, I didn't like the old look and thought it needed brighting up. I am also hoping the more professional look will bring in more members.

New Year
I have also changed the year this roleplaying site is taking place, we are now in 1994. I thought it would give us more time to grow so by the time we come to 1995 we will hopefully have most canons including the ones needed for Death Eaters and The Order Of The Phoenix.

Get a Home for Free!
I have already given a couple characters their own homes for free, why not get one created too? This offer will not be available forever and would usually cost you a hundred credits!

OOC Interview
Lets hear all about the person that plays Hermione Granger.

Mr. Bee: Why did you chose to play Hermione?
Hermione: Oh, for several reasons! I knew I wanted to play a female character, seeing as most of the ones I've played on other sites have been male, and there was no way I couldn't choose Hermione! I've always loved the character and wanted to know more about her, even though we know a lot from what J.K. has written. She's brilliant and brainy, but a bit socially inept even though she seems to know how people's emotions work. I think she's got a great personality, too, so - why NOT Hermione?

Mr. Bee: This is a AU site, is there anything you would or have thought about changing for Hermione that's different from the books/films?
Hermione: Ooh, that's an excellent question! One I don't rightly think I'm quite ready to answer. Hermione may take a few different turns in the future, but she's going to still be very much the same girl from the books. She's not going to going to go for the Quidditch team or start snogging her mates any time soon, that's for sure! I'm going to try not to follow the book word for word, plot for plot, and I think some of our original characters will help shape the plot into something new yet familiar. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens!

Mr. Bee: This is a new site and your the first member of the month, how are you liking the place and being selected as the first motm?
Hermione:It's a great honor! While some might consider it an easy win considering the low membership, I'm quite proud to have earned this award. This site has had it's long bouts of inactivity, but the admin has recently breathed some new life into it that's made it truly quite amazing and very, very promising!

Mr. Bee: Is there anything you are looking forward to with playing Hermione or any threads at all?
Hermione:Oh, definitely! Ron and I have already spoken about some possibilities for future plots - mostly vague stuff, really, so nothing really to report on, but I'm really, really looking forward to the Triwizard Tournament and seeing what changes we make to the plot! I must admit, however, that I wouldn't mind following it quite closely in many ways; the fourth book was amazing! I'd avoid scenarios where we'd quote word-for-word; that would be just silly!


Mr. Bee: Finally, last question, are there any plans to take on any other characters? Canon or otherwise?
Hermione: Oh, dear! I really shouldn't considering all the characters I have on other sites, but I've got my eye on a certain canon professor. We'll see!

Mr. Bee: Well it seems we have quite a few things to look forward to, I know I will look forward to how Hermione does with the original characters on this forum and whatever comes her way.

Ron Weasley
The Golden Trio is now complete thanks to a member taking on the Weasley member of Ron.

Ginny Weasley
A new member to our site who has taken on the youngest and only girl of the Weasley clan.

Faye O'Callaghan
A new Hogwarts Professor that will be teaching the students Care Of Magical Creatures.

Rae Stone
A New Hogwarts Professor that will be teaching the students Astronomy. She is also currently the Head of House for Ravenclaw until we get a Filius Flitwick.

Minerva McGonagall
A current member has taken on this Hogwarts character for us! The Hogwarts Staff is complete with herself, Albus and Faith Rose.


We also have some other characters currently in the making which I hope will be finished to join us sometime this week.

OOC Thread of the Week
Last week it was The Wish Game, credits for people that have posted in there have already been added. For this week it is Out Of Ten you can earn up to 2 credits for everytime you post in this thread. You can earn up to 10 credits for each one of your characters.
