You never really knew
The things you learned would matter,
The things you did and didn't do would someday find you
"There are things worth dying for!"

How did you find us: Google
Character Name: Sirius Black
Nickname(s): Padfoot
Sex: [Do not be immature. Its simple your either a male or female] Male
Age: 34
Birthdate: [remember it is 1995] September 13th, 1960

Blood Type: [there are only three types] Pure-blood
Occupation: [Only adults and new Hogwarts alumni fill in] None/ Member of the Order of the Phoenix
Appearance: [At least two paragraphs] Sirius was, in his time, the definition of handsome. He always upheld a messy sort of elegance, less intimidating looking than some of his relatives, but still very high class and elegant. He is tall, with shoulder length, wavy, dark hair and gray eyes that have been described as fathomless.
Azkaban deteriorated much of his appearance, making him thinner and more gaunt looking. Even on his worst days though, he was never a terrible looker. He'd always have defined haughty features that made others jealous of him throughout school.
Play-By: Gary Oldman
Likes: Harry Potter, Remus Lupin, Andromeda Tonks, memories of the Marauders, a good duel against his enemies
Dislikes: A lot of his family, Voldemort, the Dark Arts, dementors, being helpless, being judged,
Strengths: Loyalty, bravery, cleverness, dueling, resourcefulness
Weaknesses: Quick to anger, unable to get out much with the ministry on his tail, acts on intuition rather than practical solutions, has more enemies than allies, quick to criticize himself
Mirror of erised: Being able to let Harry have a simpler life, defeating Voldemort, having his better years back
Fears: Being unable to save those he cares about, dementors, hospitals
Boggart: Unknown, and according to him, nonexistent
Dementor: That night; when he learned that suggesting Peter as secret keeper was the worst decision of his life. In only a few moments he'd leaned of the betrayal of a friend, his wrong accusations of anything, the death of two, and Harry was taken from him. it seemed almost insignificant he spent 12 years in Azkaban because of it.
Patronus: The memory is of the night he left his family behind and moved in with James.
Amortentia: Forest trees, citrus fruit, something like the Quidditch pitch
Relationship status: Single
Turn ons: intelligence, good looks, not a big talker
Turn offs: Slytherins, bubbly girls, people that don't accept who he is or what he's for
Personality: Sirius, going by first impressions only, was probably nothing more than an arrogant, troublemaker. And if that's what you wanted to see him as, he wouldn't likely object. To people closer to him it may be better noted that he was exceptionally loyal, actually quite clever, and a very good-natured person. Of course he showed it in his own unique ways.
Growing up with the family he did, it isn't to surprising he's very opinionated and holds a short temper. What is surprising though is his hostile attitude toward his family and all their dear morals. He was good at adjusting himself, able to handle anything life threw at him. it wasn't too easy to get on Sirius' bad side, but it was definitely a place you didn't want to be.
Not that he was ever known for being mature, Azkaban didn't help him grow emotionally, and he came back with an even stronger need to be with and protect those he cares for. Being the 'white sheep of the Black family' he always felt the need to prove himself, prove he was better than them. So that plus strong loyalty led him to be willing to fight and die for anyone or thing that deserved it. he also had a strong detestment of anything relating his his family or childhood home, becoming even more reckless when he found he was nearly confined again.
Mother: Walburga Black, pure-blood, caused Sirius grief even after her death
Father: Orion Black, pure-blood, protector of # 12 Grimmauld Place
Siblings: Regulus Black, 32, Death Eater
Other important figures: Andromeda Tonks, cousin, the 'only other halfway decent one' aka, the other one with he burn hole on the family tree.
Birth place: London
Overall history: Sirius was born to pure-blood wizards Walburga and Orion Black. He was different from the rest of his family, causing a lot of dislike and punishment, resulting in a rather unhappy childhood for himself. Once sorted as a Gryffindor he did everything in his power to become more rebellious.
Out of school, he and the Marauders and Lily joined the original Order of the Phoenix, and fought in the first wizarding war. Because this was so personal, most of the Death eaters family members or peers, he occasionally got to wrapped up in the little things. When the Potters went into hiding, he offered to be their secret keeper. But this would have been far to obvious, and he'd clearly have been the first one they went after. It was Sirius' idea that eventually brought them down, and he'll never forget that.
He spent twelve long years imprisoned in Azkaban for something he didn't do, and when he finally escaped he wasn't even near free. He was grateful to prove Peter's guiltiness and rebuild his friendship with Remus Lupin, as well as starting one with his godson Harry Potter. He moved into his family's old home and joined the Order again with a new determination.
Roleplay sample: It had to be here. But of course. It had to be here. In this very room. With these very people. And of all the nerve, not a single one seemed to care half as much as he did. They all just sat in professional silence, like they'd done this a million times.
Maybe they had. In all those years. Without him. Grieved in their own way. Charmed away the bad memories in wisps. Sirius could still see them though. See them as vividly as he had so long ago. This bloody dreadful place.
He didn't actually excuse himself before leaving the room, and the hallway, and the building; simply walking out into the biting cold but somehow inviting air. He didn't care to answer anyones questions, see looks of confusion, of pity, he didn't need them. He never did, and he wasn't starting now.
But it was dreadfully hard to come back. It was hard when twelve years had passed, and so much had gone on. It didn't matter how much anyone told him stories and filled him in. They could try dying for twelve years. Try dying. See what it's like. He wouldn't wish it on his greatest enemy....
