Harry Potter and his friends are in their fifth year at Hogwarts. This is a AU, everything that has happened in the first four years in the books is true here, but from 1995 onwards we are making our own version of events.
It's up to us now on what happens, will Sirius still die at the end of this year, will Snape kill Dumbledore, will we lose Fred, Tonks, Remus and others in the war.
Even though this is a AU Roleplaying game, we are trying to keep as close to the books as possible.
Welcome to the forum, we will be happy to have you as a member if you wish to join. Please read the rules for this forum, don't worry there aren't many.

PLEASE REMEMBER - Adults ~ You can have more then one job on this site. You can have up to four Jobs, two being Major Job and another two being a Minor. Or if you wish, One Major Job and three Minors. Students, Years 1-5 ~ You can have one Minor Job. Students, Years 6-7 ~ Yo can have two Minor Jobs.

Job is at:Quality Quidditch Supplies Job Applying for:Student Worker Why do you think you will be good at this job:I am an enthuisatic quidditch fan who would love to be in am enviroment where I get to help other quidditch players like myself choose the equipment right for them. Why do you want this job:I enjoy the many aspects of quidditch and love help others espically if anyone needs my opinion on which broom to choose.
Roleplay sample of character at work: Ellyon carefully swept the shop floors so the shop didn't look grubby before it was due to open. Then at opening time she flipped the sign from closed to open to allow customers in. After a while a twelve year olf boy and his father came in to look around the shop. As they was browsing she left them be while she restocked the gloves. "Excuse me my son is looking for his first broom which would you suggest." The man asked from behind her. Ellyon turned to face him before walking over to where the brooms where on display. "Well as it's his first broom I would suggest nothing to fast but nimble enough to play quidditch on which would be and Eagle Pro." She said carefully lifting a broom from the shelf that would be the right size for the boy. "Oh thank you very much."The man said looking at the tag and pulling the correct amount of money from his pocket."Here you go." He said placing it in her hand. "And hear you go."She said handing the boy the broom."And remember if you need a new broom bring your old one and we'll give you a part exvhange."Ellyon said with a smile then they left on Ellyon went to put the money in the till.

Job is at:Gringots Job Applying for:Mod/Goblin Why do you think you will be good at this job:I will be online more or less everyday as I do with other websites and am currently taking an A* math class and a the top of my math group. Why do you want this job: I know Mods are desperately need on this site and as I will be on often and know all about BBCodes from weeworld and Virtual Hogwarts thought I would be able to do this job well.

Job is at:Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry Job Applying for: Slytherin Prefect Why do you think you will be good at this job: I will be good at this job because I'm the only student that Professor Snape likes enough to call prefect. Also I will have my father have a "talk" with professor Snape if I don't get it. Why do you want this job: I deserve the authority -- I'm a pure-blood after all.
Roleplay sample of character at work: At the end of the sorting ceremony and the feast, Draco stood up lazily from the Slytherin table. The new first years looked at him curiously, slowly standing up and following suit with the older and more experienced students. Draco stretched feebly, and it took him a few minutes of yawning to realize that the students were all looking to him as the other houses filed out of the Great Hall, following their prefects to their dormitories. "What?" Draco barked at a timid first year, even though he already knew why he was staring with a confused look plastered to his face. "Aren't you a Prefect?" piped the boy in a surprisingly high pitched voice. Draco looked down at the child in disgust, Slytherin is going to the dogs..., Draco thought. "Yes I'm a prefect you bloody git. Don't you know what this badge is for? I figured it was shiny enough for your little eyes to spot." The little first year opened his mouth to speak, but then shrunk away and started following a line of second years. Draco sneered as his two cronies, Crabbe and Goyle, guffawed loudly.

Job is at:Honedukes Job Applying for:Student Worker Why do you think you will be good at this job:Tifa is a girl who is motherly and protective of people, so she can easily convince sales and protect the candy from getting stolen. Why do you want this job:Tifa likes to help people and Honeydukes is a great place to work.
Roleplay sample of character at work:It was an early morning in Honeydukes and the workers were preparing the store by making sure the candy out on display was in a good view for upcoming students to see. Tifa was in the back making sure all the cadies were in place like the chocolate frogs and the licorice wands. As she continued her counting of the candy she looked over through the doors to see students rushing into the candy shop. Fellow Ravenclaw and other houses students came pilling in examining the many candies in the shop. Tifa finished her inventory check just in time to help some of the customers, “Why hello there. Are you finding what your looking for?” Tifa said with a smile on her face. The student simply looked at her and asked, “Where are your butterbeer flavored toffes?” Tifa then looked at the boy with graet pleasure and pointed in the room near the back,” Just down there should be the 4th shelf up.” The student then rushed doff to were Tifa had directed and as he ran off Tifa could only smile as she was now doing her job in a very friendly manner helping the students find their desired candies.

Also I am a seventh year prefect and a site call hogwarts rewritten under the name of Alice Prewett so I have done the job before. Why do you want this job:I like to help student who are being bullied and also reward those that do good as it make me feel a god person by righting wrongs and rewarding those that do right.
Roleplay sample of character at work:When the morn had come when Ellyon learned she was to be a prefect she was delighted as it ment she could actually make a real impact when she stood up for people and even punish them for it, so at sshool she prodly wore the badge withboth honor and pride like on would if they where granted a marvelous oppertunity like this. Now all Ellyon had to do was keep her beady eye out for any trouble makers and they would be in for it and sure enough it didn't take long for her to find out what they usual bunch of bullies where doing. She found them in the courtyard in one of it's four corners surrounding what looked to be a young ravenclaw this time. Well atleast it's not that poor Hufflepuff anymore. She thought to herself as she marchd up behind them.
Once behind them she tapped the leader on the shoulder and he spun round a snarl on his face."What are you doing medaling with us again." He growled like an anrgy beast how wasn't to be irriatted. "Well I believe it's against the schools rules to bully anyone upon or out of it's permerises." Ellyon retroted in he high pitch voiced with an impending tone of aurthory in her voice. "Yeah well your not a prefect so what you gonna do." She snarled back wanting her to go away and leave him to have his fun. "Oh I think I am a prefect and because of you behavour I am docking five points from Slytherin and it will be ten if you don't leave now." She said in a stern tone like a mother would to a child and the Slytherins slumped away clearly not pleased with Ellyon. And with that Ellyon felt a surge of joy and she tend to the young Ravenclaw how luckly this time wasn't hurt before returning to her patrol to find anymore miscrents roming the halls.

Pansy walked the grounds looking here and there every once in a while. There was really nothing to do while on patrol other than to try and keep one's mind occupied and think over things. Especially night patrols, they were the most boring when no one was around. Still she was glad to be a prefect, there was quite a bit of power with it and her parents were pleased. It was, after all, incredibly hard to please a pair of Slytherin parents. So she took all that she could get. Suddenly a little first year looked from the badge to her glowering eyes and took a breath and walked up to her.
"Yes?" She asked looking at him with a glare and a raised eyebrow. She looked at the robes, Huffelpuff. Hardly worth her time and almost lower than Gryffindor, it was hard to break the tie for which of the houses were worse between the two. "How d-d-d-do I-I get t-t-t-to the astronomy tower m-mm-m-m-m-ma'am?" he shuddered out in a way that would make one Neville Longbottom proud to say the least, the very least. She debated giving him the wrong directions for a moment, after all it would be all the fun, but it was her job to help first years unfortunately.
"Well you start by actually going into the castle, then you walk to the first big staircase, walk up three flights go left down the hall until you reach the ratty old wooden staircase then walk up though the floor." She had to tell the truth, but she didn't have to lead him there or be kind about it. He nodded still looking confused and just kept staring at her. she shook her hair and looked up rolling her eyes before looking down and seeing him again. "BOO!" She said scaring him and cackling as he ran off before continuing her walk of the grounds.MAn being a prefect was hard.
